Course Content:
Current legislation.
Recognition of confined spaces.
Danger associated with these areas.
Human respiratory system.
Use of gas detection equipment in hazardous atmospheres.
Use of PPE ie: ropes, harness, and main riding hoists.
Use of escape breathing apparatus and escape sets.
Pre-Entry checks on equipment.
Methods of communication.
Emergency procedures.
Practical exercises.
